Salt Bae went viral all over again for all the wrong reasons towards the tail end of last year as he stormed the pitch following the World Cup final and demanded photos of him holding the trophy alongside the winning Argentinian players, with a particular picture of Lionel Messi telling him to go away going viral on social media.

Everyone loved that photo because why the hell should Salt Bae be out there celebrating with Messi during his greatest moment? And it turns out that Salt Bae isn’t much better himself after he fobbed off one of his mega fans for a picture because he wasn’t famous enough to give him his attention. How the table turns.

Anyway, TikTok user Masala Bae models himself on the famous chef (questionable) and says that Salt Bae inspired him to start his own business. Upon coming face to face with his idol, Masala was eager to show him some TikToks of his work but Salt Bae didn’t really give a shxt and pretty much gave him a Lionel Messi style cold shoulder.

OK so I get that it’s kinda cringey that this Masala Bae character based his whole look on Salt Bae and pretty much ripped him off here and that might be weird for the guy, but he could show a bit more respect and compassion for the guy when he’s meeting his hero rather than fobbing him off in like a second. If anything that shows what an even bigger asshole Salt Bae is as he doesn’t have time for anyone below him in the food chain, whereas he’s always leaching on people more famous than him to improve his own profile. Idiot.
