After being a massive dork at the World Cup and harassing Messi and his teammates, not to mention putting his salty fingers on the trophy itself, the organisers of the US Open Cup have taken preemptive measures by banning Salt Bae from the final of its tournament.
The official Twitter account of the oldest and most prestigious soccer football tournament in America Tweeted:
Salt Bae is hereby banned from the 2023 @opencup Final

Which is probably a good idea because I don’t think the world can handle more cringe clips of Salt Bae clout chasing with footballers who want him to get lost as much as everyone else does. I mean, it’s one thing being lucky enough to get exclusive access to the pitch following a World Cup final, but going around trying to make it about yourself and pestering the players? Touching the trophy and doing his dumb salt sprinkle move on it? Come on!
If he was at least Argentinian you might excuse it a little bit, but the guy is so desperate and entitled that he really could turn up anywhere at this point to try and steal the limelight. Fair play to the US Open Cup for dishing out this deserved punishment for crimes against humanity and soccer football. Do one, Salt Bae!
A collection of Salt Bae trying for clout with these players. So painful to watch. Like forcing himself between 2 players and trying to take the trophy away while players try to maintain professionalism, but their faces can be clearly read they are annoyed pic.twitter.com/BbChdBEK3M

Dan Bilzerian always knew Salt Bae was a weirdo, and he proved it the other day too.
