Everyone was probably enjoying their Good Friday celebrations – eating hot cross buns or whatever – when the sad news that Paul Cattermole from S Club 7 had been found dead at his house and kind of put a dampener on the bank holiday for everyone who grew up in the 90s/00s because that group was a big part of that, especially with a reunion tour coming up this autumn.

The announcement of Paul’s death was released to the public in a joint statement between S Club 7 and his family, but now Jo O’Meara from the group has decided to release her own tribute to her bandmate:

Yeah I suppose that’s exactly what you would expect her to say in a situation like that really isn’t it and it’s hardly that surprising, but it is kind of weird that she’s the only one of S Club 7 to have said something yet. I guess they probably needed some time to figure out their feelings and it was Easter too so maybe we’ll see them flooding in now. RIP Paul anyway.
For more of the same, check out when S Club 7 fans were furious earlier this year when just one member turned up to their concert. Can kinda understand why to be honest.
