Russell Brand has responded to the news today that he’s been charged with rape and sex crimes against four women, and he is of course suggesting that political elites are targeting him with made-up accusations because he speaks so much truth.
In his address, Brand even brings up the Southport stabbings. Watch below:

Look, obviously he has a point about not being able to trust the British government. What he’s getting at is that the government is trying to bring him down because he spoke out against COVID vaccines and went MAGA and all the rest of it. However, Russell Brand was facing sex crime allegations way before COVID was even a thing. As far back as 2006, Danni Minogue described him as a “vile predator”, and former girlfriend Jordan Martin accused him of sexual assault and physical abuse during their relationship in 2007.
With more and more allegations against him in the many years since, Brand rapidly became a born-again Christian and conspiracy influencer who appealed to exactly the type of demographic who would stick up for him on the internet when the law inevitably came for him. It just all seems very convenient when you’re got multiple sexual assault allegations against you.
Brand will appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Friday, May 2, to face the four charges. You can learn more about the specifics HERE.
