Since being cancelled a couple years back following a string of sexual assault claims against him, Russell Brand has re-branded himself as some kind of right-wing Christian influencer, and he’s now selling a “magical amulet” that he claims protects you from WiFi signals and other evil energies.

How much is Russell Brand shifting this bit of kit for? Only $239.99 – total bargain, I’m sure you’ll agree…

The funniest part about it is that Brand is trying to sell this $239.99 “magical amulet” while he wears an extremely visible WiFi microphone, although I suppose he would argue that he has the magical amulet in his possession and so is protected by the devastating WiFi radiating around his mic.

Seriously though, what a grift. Has there ever been a sadder fall from grace than the one we’re experiencing with Russell Brand? The guy was genuinely hilarious and had some great viral moments (who could forget the Morning Joe interview), so it’s just gutting to see what a BS artist he’s become.

What’s really shocking though is that there are people out there who will genuinely purchase this magical amulet all because Russell Brand endorsed it. It’s staggering to think that these people even exist.

Anyway,  you have to hand it to Russell Brand on some level; he never fails to surprise. Remember the time he got a bit too handsy with Lorraine Kelly on The Graham Norton Show? Well, I suppose that wasn’t too surprising.
