Ronda Rousey is undeniably the best female fighter in the world right now after her recent 14 second submission and she’s also a massive fan favourite after interviews like this where she disses Floyd Mayweather, but could she actually take down a man in a UFC fight?

It’s unlikely they’ll ever actually be a sanctioned fight between Ronda and a male, but that isn’t stopping her from thinking about it and thinking she should kick some serious ass against the opposite sex. She’s even claiming that her dream fight would be against Jon Jones because they would do some ‘crazy ninja shit’:

Dream world like skills-wise or annoying me-wise? Does size count? Could we just go from anybody’s skills? Like dream match, skills-wise, I would love to see where I would go with Jon Jones because he’s the one most able to improvise within a match, which is something I really pride myself on. I think we’d do some crazy ninja stuff. And then Bryan Caraway’s really annoying. It would be fun to beat him up, but plenty of other people have gotten that pleasure before me, apparently.

Oof and a dig at Bryan Caraway – the boyfriend of Miesha Tate who had an intense feud with Rousey in the octagon a while back. This girl really knows how to work the crowd and the press eh?

Unfortunately, as much as Ronda would like to see a fight against Jones it isn’t going to happen anytime soon after he was stripped of his light heavyweight title and suspended from the UFC. This was following him turning himself into the cops over a hit and run incident in New Mexico at the end of April. In all fairness though even if he was still competing it’s unlikely it would ever happen.

To be honest, even though it might be kind of weird to see men fighting women in the octagon I still think it would be a good fight given how tough and good at fighting both of them are. Should it actually happen though? If Ronda thinks so i guess we should be down with it.
