You might remember back in 2015 that this really ripped, strong looking kangaroo went viral after pictures of his perfectly chiseled body were posted on the internet and people couldn’t believe that a bloody kangaroo was way tougher looking than them. What a time that was to be alive.

Since then Roger the kangaroo had largely been forgotten, but it’s with great sadness today that we’re bringing you the news that he unfortunately passed away overt the weekend at the age of 12. The Kangaroo Sanctuary in Alice Springs posted the following on Saturday:

Hot damn the dude was still looking hence even though he was literally in the process of dying of old age. Apparently his hench body type may actually have contributed to his death though sadly, as apparently the bulkier a kangaroo is the lower its lifespan is generally because of their increased dietary needs. He probably lived a full and healthy life though as more muscular kangaroos attract mates more easily than the less stacked, so Roger probably had females lining up around the block for him. What a legend.
