Robin Van Persie’s son seems to be following in the footsteps of the Dutch marksman, at least judging by this video that was recently captured while father and son were having a kickabout in some stadium in Holland. Robin Van Persie Jr (who is about two foot tall) hits the ball on the half volley from about six yards out over his father, the original Robin Van Persie, and in off the post in the top corner. Let’s hope that Robin Van Persie Jr isn’t as injury prone as his father and can grow up to truly be one of the world’s greats – a title that you feel his father may have earned if he wasn’t on the treatment table constantly.
