Whoa, what a relief that reporter is OK. Took that hit like a champ and kept the show going like an absolute pro. She practically apologised for being in the driver’s way! What a legend. Personally I would have milked that for all it was worth until a fat cheque landed in my bank account, but that’s just me.
Not sure what her co-anchor’s lack of concern was all about though? I’m not sure anyone could have less of a reaction watching their co-worker get hit by a car on live TV if they tried. She’s literally rammed out of the shot by an oncoming vehicle and the first thing out of his mouth is “that’s a first for you on TV, Lori!”. Umm how about asking if she’s OK? He then followed it up with “were you bumped down low or were you hit up high?”. Lol – asking all the important questions there. Great stuff.
