Stranger Things was probably the most popular new television show of last year, and to say that the wait for series 2 has been a long time coming would be somewhat of an understatement.

We previously knew that the series would be returning around Halloween but Netflix have finally announced its official release date via the teaser below:

Looks ominous right? I suppose that’s in keeping with the first series though. Not really sure how they’re going to explain that huge monster that seems to be lurking in all the promo shots – I suppose it’s just something else that’s wandering around the Upside-down because we never really found out what all that was about anyway – but I’m looking forward to finding out. Just gotta wait a few more months I suppose.
