Brooklyn subway shooter Frank James, who shot 10 people last April, seems to have made at least one new friend in jail: R&B paedophile R Kelly.
According to NY Daily News, the two have become good pals at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center. A source told the outlet:
They talk about TV shows. They go out to rec together. They’re buds.
Both do get along. They actually sit together and eat together.
Well isn’t that nice and cosy? Obviously you’re kind of stuck with each other in prison so you can’t exactly blame inmates for spending time together, but there’s something weirdly amusing/creepy about the idea of these two striking up a friendship and discussing the new season of Better Call Saul or whatever.
The two men, considered high-risk inmates, are being held in the same unit that keeps government cooperators. The outlet added that James has a cellmate, drinks “copious amounts of coffee” and doesn’t complain too much. Meanwhile, Kelly has his own room and passes the time by singing. He must be on Trapped In The Closet part #1067 by now, surely?

R Kelly is currently awaiting sentencing from his sex-trafficking trial, while James faces up to life in prison as he awaits trial for the subway shooting, which amazingly resulted in 0 deaths despite shooting 10 people. Let’s hope justice is served in both cases.
