Six soldiers from the Queen’s guard have been arrested just days before they were due to lead the Platinum Jubilee parade, reports The Telegraph.

The serving Irish Guards members were arrested on suspicion of dealing cocaine and running a loan shark operation. A former sergeant from the Coldstream Guards was also arrested. Wonder if they’re the guys hooking up Boris and co at the Houses of Parliament?

A source from the 1st Battalion Irish Guards’ base, Mons Barracks in Aldershot, Hampshire, said authorities ‘came in like the DEA, kicking down doors’ on Wednesday with dawn raids in Northern Ireland, North Wales, Hampshire and Berkshire.

‘There was no warning. We were told they had been planning the operation for months.

It wasn’t just the barracks. They searched the soldiers’ homes off base. It’s all come as a huge shock.’

Naturally, none of the soldiers under investigation will participate in the Platinum Jubilee parades, which must be a concern because they must have had some drop-offs to do along the route. Nice touch for Her Majesty just a few days before her big day huh? As if she hasn’t been humiliated enough with Prince Andrew’s shenanigans, the Harry/Meghan saga, etc. Have to think there’s some dishonourable discharges on the horizon, and I guess jail time too? Can’t be embarrassing the Queen like that, especially at a time like this. For shame!

Meanwhile, Meghan Markle’s also under fire for visiting the site of the Texas school shooting this week. PR stunt of Prince Diana Part 2?
