They think years of online harassment and cyberstalking can’t cause PTSD. I’m here to say it can and it has. You will not silence me. – Melody Hensley (@MelodyHensley) April 15, 2014
I’ve had PTSD for 16 months. I can handle you now. There was a time where I couldn’t. I might have bad days but I’ll come back swinging.

I’m in intense therapy and physical therapy for being bedridden. I took two months off of work and now have to work from home from my bed.

All of this can be verified through my work that received letters from my psychiatrist. But I shouldn’t try to convince sadistic assholes.

I wanted to keep objective and maybe even stick up for Melody, I really did, but this is just a slap in the face to anyone who has genuine PTSD from being raped/mugged/attacked/seeing their friends blown up in war. There’s a difference between having PTSD and having a meltdown because someone was being mean to you on Twitter.
What does this say about hardworking bloggers like the Sick Chirpse team who have people tell us our writing is shit on a daily basis? Imagine if we were as sensitive as Melody Hensley. It would be PTSD central over here. And what the hell is the last tweet about how terrible it is she has to work from home? That’s the dream you idiot!
