The last thing that image-conscious Prince Harry & Meghan Markle need right now is to be dragged into the P Diddy sexual trafficking lawsuit, but that’s exactly what’s happened after Harry’s name appeared in court documents against the Bad Boy Records founder.
Producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones filed a $30 million lawsuit against Diddy last month, alleging all kinds of insane and very serious behaviours on his part, amounting sexual misconduct, grooming and sex trafficking. Then the other day, Diddy jetted off on a private plane as Homeland Security raided his home and detained his sons.
Now, we’ve really got to emphasise the next part – the court papers do not suggest that Prince Harry was involved in any wrongdoing or criminal activity in conjunction with Diddy. The Duke of Sussex is not a defendant nor has he been incriminated, and his name only appears once in the document. So now that’s clear, please don’t sue us.
Still, it has to feel like a pretty big kick in Harry’s ginger b0llocks that he’s been mentioned at all. Why is his name in the lawsuit in the first place?
Well, it appears that Rodney ‘Lil Rod’ Jones, who filed the lawsuit, included Harry and other A-listers’ affiliation with Diddy to add to Diddy’s “legitimacy” as far as being a big player with powerful connections. Of course, most people don’t read beyond the headline and so I can imagine Harry & Meghan in utter meltdown today as this story does the rounds.
What makes it worse is that Prince Harry worked so hard to distance himself from his uncle Andrew, who was of course one of Jeffrey Epstein’s most popular clients. Now that Harry’s been dragged into the Diddy scandal, it just seems like another Royal involved in a multi-millionaire pervert’s sex trafficking lawsuit. Can’t the Royals catch a break?!
Well, maybe the moral of the story here is that the Royals should stop trying so hard to hang out with rich and famous people, which is a tough ask considering that’s all that Harry & Meghan seem to want to do.
Hasn’t Meghan just launched a new, ultra-pretentious ‘lifestyle’ brand for the wealthy? Great bit of PR this is going to be.
