Wow. That’s a lot of info there isn’t it so you can realistically work out who it’s going to be and most people seem to be gravitating towards Thomas Partey. He’s 29 years old, plays for Arsenal and is going to the World Cup with Ghana in November and someone wrote this tweet on Monday morning before any of this news broke:
Can’t really say much but I’m sure it’ll be in the press by lunch time

OK, so I’m not gonna say that you should believe everything on Twitter and that the footballer in question is definitely Thomas Partey, but in the past whenever anything like this has happened the noise on Twitter does tend to gravitate towards whoever ends up being the culprit. Happened with Benjamin Mendy, Gylfi Sigurdsson and Mason Greenwood, so it looks like Partey could be the guy. Keep an eye out for more updates.
For more of the same, check out this guy who got a £1 million fine and a seven year jail sentence for pirating Premier League matches. Seems a bit much.
