We’ve made fun of Post Malone quite a bit on this site for having stupid face tattoos and looking like he never showers, but I’m now ashamed to admit that I didn’t realise how talented the guy is.

He recently did a few tracks on NPR’s Tiny Desk and I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. It’s so good…

I actually don’t like most of Post Malone’s songs, but listening to this and other live stuff he’s done I’ve realised it’s because of the production. When he strips those same songs back a bit you barely recognise them and come to realise the guy is a heck of a talent, even if he does look like he sleeps under a bridge.

Seems like a genuinely cool and humble guy too:

Not sure there’s many musicians with that level of fame who would sit there chatting away to their fans and allow themselves to get talked into swapping trainers. Fair play to Post Malone – an example for all celebrities on how to behave with fans.
