If you’ve ever used the porn website xHamster (don’t lie, we know you have) then it looks like you’re at risk of having your search history revealed online.

It is reported that over 380,000 user names, emails and passwords have been hacked and are now being traded on the digital underground after the information was breached by cyber criminals.
This horrific news was revealed by Motherboard, who said that it received the information via LeakBase. This is pretty big news, especially since xHamster is such a hugely popular porn site and has millions of visitors every day.

And it wasn’t just regular users who the hackers targeted – apparently the database also includes 30 accounts linked to various government bodies including people in the US and the UK, as well as 40 email addresses belonging to the US Army.
An xHamster spokesperson said:
The passwords of all xHamster users are properly encrypted, so it is almost impossible to hack them.
Thus, all the passwords are safe and the users data secured.
Well at least the passwords are OK. I guess there’s only one thing for it and that’s to change your login details with xHamster, if you have any. If not, then you needn’t worry.
And anyway, we’ve got bigger fish to fry. Did anyone else see the new bill that was passed last week, giving a HUGE list of people access to your entire internet history? We’re fucked, basically.
