I’m not sure how you decided to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee over the last weekend, but a whole bunch of people decided to head down to an illegal rave in Plymouth and buzz their tits off for it, with the party being so massive that the police couldn’t do anything to shut it down and were forced to let it continue for three days.

The party took place at Davidstow Moor in Cornwall and saw thousands of people attending with some coming from as far away as Scotland. The organisers claimed that it was a ‘model festival’ when applying for a licence, but clearly lied and the rave was reported to the police on Friday night at 10pm after pissing everyone in the local area off with loads of loud music and cars obstructing everything.
Sadly for the local residents – who were also worried about litter in the aftermath – there were too many people and vehicles for the police to do anything abou it, although they did manage to stop the rave from getting any bigger by preventing any new guests from arriving. They still had to rope some people from the local community in to help them with this though as there were still too many people flooding in for their meagre police force to handle. What a bunch of weaklings.
Anyway, I imagine if you’re anything like me you probably think it was cool that these guys organised a three day long party that the cops couldn’t shut down and you probably want to see some footage of how raucous it was, so here you go:

Yeah to be honest I thought it was going to be way more rowdy than that? It doesn’t even look like there arethat many people there, especially in the drone footage? Really disappointing and kinda a pathetic job from the police if you ask me. Says it all about this country really.
The party footage also doesn’t even look that good. The music sounds OK sure but it doesn’t look like anyone is partying too hard. I suppose it’s raining and that didn’t help, but even so it isn’t making me feel like I missed out or anything. Just saying.
For more of the same, check out when someone threw an illegal rave in the back of a van in the middle of a town centre. That was way more dangerous than this one.
