It’s an old and tired pornography trope that the pizza delivery man or plumber or whoever ends up having sex with the bored housewife, but I’m not sure if this updated/woke/all ages version of it is really going to work out.

I shouldn’t really joke about it because it sounds like quite a traumatic experience for the 80 year old woman in question who was propositioned for sex by her plumber and then wrote an anonymous letter to MP Jess Philips about how men should be educated from a young age about sexual harassment. She tweeted it below to her followers:

Yeah that is actually quite heartbreaking – I take back what I said at the start of this article. It’s awful to think that some scumbag plumber literally tried to proposition an old eighty year old woman for sex whilst he was in her house instead of paying for the work he was doing. It’s also terrifying to think what he might have done if she hadn’t left the house. People really need to not act like this – what is it going to take?

The woman in question should probably report the plumber to the authorities as well. Who can tell what he’s out there doing?
