25 year old Josh Lewis, a Louisville pizza delivery boy, got stabbed and carjacked on his way to deliver some pizzas, but managed to deliver them anyway before keeling over due to a collapse lung.

His manager at ‘Spinelli’s Pizzeria’ said that Lewis was (luckily) delivering pizzas to a family at Norton hospital, so I guess he couldn’t have picked a better place to get stabbed:

It’s surreal. I can’t believe it happened to him. As he was taking the pizzas out of his car and walking to deliver the pizza, he was stabbed in the back. Believe it ot not, he got his pizzas delivered and collapsed in the ER.

What a hero. The world needs more pizza boys like Josh Lewis. Imagine if you won one of our pizza competitions on Sunday (follow on Twitter or Facebook for details) and we were sending over your order and the pizza boy got stabbed before he could deliver it to you. It would be a nightmare for everyone involved — a pizza boy’s left bleeding to death in the street while you go the rest of the night hungry and we try to figure out what the hell is happening. Well, none of that would be an issue if Josh Lewis was your pizza boy. That guy’s bringing the cheese to your door every time.

P.S. Between this dude, the Domino’s delivery boy who got blazed with the people he delivered to, and the ex-delivery girl who made a list of all the weird customers she encountered — 2015 is proving to be a HUGE year for pizza delivery people. Big up yourselves.
