A transgender model who was sacked by L’Oreal for saying that all white people are racist appeared on ‘Good Morning Britain’ to face a grilling from Piers Morgan.

Munroe Bergdorf made the headlines recently after L’Oreal Paris dropped her over her Facebook post about the racism of white people. She made the post in reference to the Charlottesville riots.

During her stint on this morning’s show, Bergdorf, who was the first trans woman to appear in a L’Oreal Paris UK campaign, got into a rather heated debate with Piers over her comment. Although it is rather controversial, once again Piers overpowers his guest, giving Bergdorf little chance to explain her side:

I get the feeling that Bergdorf was actually talking about racism and society as a whole and that people have taken her wording in the wrong way. She’s not talking about individuals but as white people as a race and in history and how it needs to be acknowledged for anything to change. I think that’s what she’s getting at anyway, but unfortunately she kept getting interrupted by Piers.
