Piers Morgan is never one to shy away from a little brag, so it’s no surprise that he decided to weigh in on the BBC star salaries debate by tweeting what he claims is his own salary.

Piers leaked the salaries of the BBC’s highest earners on Twitter this morning before they were due to be released, revealing Chris Evans as the highest paid BBC star on more than £2.2million per year.
In addition to being slammed for this move, Piers was also challenged by a Twitter user, who said:
Thing is though, for all this chat and judgment who would just openly tweet their salary right now? Go on, I dare you.
Piers did not hesitate to reply:
£22,500,000. https://t.co/4TMAS4ppDs

Many people are questioning whether Piers is being honest or not – is a stint on ‘Good Morning Britain’ really that well paid? I guess we’ll have to take his word for it.
