Piers Corbyn Causes A Scene In Aldi By Demanding They Accept His Cash In Cashless Store

Just when you thought 76-year-old Piers Corbyn was done humiliating his brother, he pops up again with another one of his bizarre stunts, in which the idea was to take a stand against cashless society.

Piers went to the Aldi APP store in Greenwich and tried to pay for a box of strawberries using exactly £1.90 in cash. When staff explained that Aldi APP stores literally don’t accept cash, he left the store with the strawberries and told them to call the police. Take that, globalists!

So yeah, I get what Piers is going for here but it might just be a better idea to boycott the shop and go buy some strawberries at the Sainsbury’s down the road or something. Would be interesting to see where he stands legally in this situation, though. Does Aldi have an obligation to accept legal tender, even in a cashless store? Or did he technically steal those strawberries, even though he left the cash on the Help Desk? What does Jeremy make of all this, I wonder?

Piers gonna Piers, I suppose. Remember the time he was ruthlessly exposed in a YouTube prank after being aggressively anti-vaccine? Hard to take him seriously after that one.
