I don’t want to accuse Phillip Schofield of using his 87-year-old vulnerable mum for a photo opportunity, but after recently claiming he’s too scared to leave the house, he’s managed to meet up with her on a park bench where I guess he explained recent events while consoling her.
In full view of a bunch of photographers:
Poor lady. It’s bad enough that one of her sons is a convicted paedophile, now the other one has been sacked for (allegedly) ‘grooming’ a younger man. Looking at those pics, I do actually feel sorry for them, but then the idea that the whole scene has been put together by some media ‘strategists’ and PR team just makes you feel like a bit of a mug for falling for it.
In truth, no one knows for sure whether Schofield and his team staged this photo, but as he’s currently the most watched and most photographed man in the UK, he had to have known there’s no way a public meeting with his mum would go unnoticed or unphotographed. Should that be held against him just because he wants to sit on a bench with his mum? Maybe we’re being too cynical.
Earlier, Jack Jones revealed that Phillip Schofield ‘begged’ him not to release footage of him with Matthew McGreevy as it could ‘ruin his career’. I guess now we know why.
