I’ve never really thought too much about the various ways of eating a hot dog because it seems fairly obvious that you just grab one end of it and put it in your mouth, but a massive debate has started after a guy called Josh Garlepp uploaded the following video from the Australian Open.

Not sure who was playing tennis, but Josh spied a woman in front of him eating a hot dog – crucially without any sauce or toppings on it either and looking dry AF – by tearing off bits of the sausage and eating them separately. Don’t really get why anyone would do that unless they just wanted to eat the sausage and none of the bread, but then why would you order a hot dog in the first place? I guess maybe you can’t just buy a sausage at the Australian Open but even if you’re doing the Atkins diet or whatever it seems like a dumb way to eat a hot dog.
Take a look at the video and some of the comments about it below:

Good lord, that is making me thirsty looking at it. Put some sauce or mustard on it, for the love of God.

Exactly how I’d imagine a tennis fan would eat it

That hotdog is not fit for an aged care facility.
Perhaps its from the Prigozhin army surplus.

Yeah I think I gotta agree with everyone there and say that this is a particularly strange way of eating a hot dog that I don’t think I can get behind. Can anyone see an advantage of noshing down on it this way? Answers on a postcard.
For more of the same, check out how David Cameron ate a hot dog once. Even worse than this woman.
