I’ve heard fo some ridiculous promotions out there but this definitely has to be one of the dumbest/greatest ones I’ve ever heard, as NOW TV are prepared to pay you £35,000 to take a year off work and stream box sets.

All you need to do to win the NOW TV BoxSet Sabbatical is upload a video or photo of yourself to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #BoxSetSabbatical. If you’re the lucky winner, you’ll get to quit your job and sit around on your ass all year with your new NOW TV Smart Stick and 12 months worth of NOW TV passes watching The Walking Dead and Game Of Thrones all year.

Hell, you’ll probably even be able to watch all those shows that look good but you never get around to watching like Fortitude or This Is Us – you really will have that much time. And you’ll get paid a yearly wage to do it. It really does sound too good to be true, but I’m failing to see what the catch is here?

Yeah to be honest I don’t know if I want an embarrassing video of me dressing up and doing impressions of TV characters all over the internet just for the chance of winning £35,000 and all the box sets I can ever imagine, but I’m sure some of you do so go for it. You’ve got until the 14th February to enter.

Hopefully the results are announced that day too because can you imagine a better Valentine’s Day present for your partner than telling them you’re taking the whole year off to watch TV and getting paid handsomely for it? Sure that will go down tremendously.
