It’s rare you come across a video that’s equal parts funny and terrifying, but I think this one featuring an amped up ostrich chasing some cyclists along a road in South Africa falls into that category.

OK there’s every chance he was just joining them for a run but you’ve also got to wonder if it would’ve been game over for these cyclists if it caught up to them.

Awesome. A bit like Jurassic Park except without the dinosaurs so not really like Jurassic Park at all. Still that ostrich was way faster than I expected ostriches to be. Didn’t know they could reach that kind of speed. Would’ve been great if it caught up to them and there was a some kind of cyclist/ostrich showdown though.
In any case I’d rather come up against that ostrich than a pack of mental dogs like this cyclist in Greece.
