Two former OnlyFans users are suing the platform after realising they weren’t actually talking to the models whose pages they were subscribed to, but rather other people (probably other dudes) impersonating them.

The plaintiffs, M. Brunner and J.Fry, both from Illinois, thought the girls they were subscribed to – some of whom have hundreds of thousands of subscribers – were actually chatting to them via direct messages. After all, that’s one of the ‘perks’ of paying a monthly fee to follow these girls on OnlyFans.

They claim in their lawsuit that these OnlyFans models employ agencies to get other people to impersonate them, and argue they would not have subscribed to the platform if they knew they were speaking to random people from an agency and not the women whose photos and videos they pay a monthly fee to jerk off to.

The plaintiffs did not provide proof they were speaking to agency chatters in the complaint, which is against OnlyFan’s parent companies Fenix International Limited and Fenix Internet, LLC, but it’s no secret that some OnlyFans creators – not all – use these agencies.

These two men now join five other separate class action complaints against OnlyFans over these “chatter scams”, with the case set for trial in 2027.

Their complaint reads:

“Over time, Plaintiff Fry began to become suspicious of who he was actually communicating with when purportedly exchanging DMs with Creators, as messages he received contained contradicting information or errors.”

Plaintiff Brunner also realised a single person would struggle to send content directly to 700,000 fans, it said. Gee, you think?

“By exercising its discretion to enrich itself while participating in the deception of its customers, OnlyFans consciously and deliberately frustrates the agreed common purposes of the contract and disappoints the reasonable expectations of Plaintiffs and Class Members, thereby depriving them of the benefit of their bargain.”

It’s actually quite amazing that anyone would admit the fact that they pay for OnlyFans in the first place, but to go to court and try and get your money back because you’ve realised you’re probably sexting with some dude in an office rather the girl herself? Just no shame whatsoever.

Legally speaking though, this case might have some legs. If one of the features a girl is offering on her subscriptions is the ability to chat with her, then she probably should make it clear that it’s not really her on the other end. Which effectively makes that feature pointless, but you never know with these h0rny weirdos.

In fact, didn’t Andrew Tate once boast that it was him posing as some his girls in the chat? Because he was afraid the girls might ask for help? It’s probably the case with a lot more girls than you may think.
