One of the longest running and weirdest sex scandals of all time sort of came to a close a couple of weeks ago when R. Kelly was found guilty of operating a sex trafficking cult and sent to jail for thirty years, but it sadly seems like he’s still up to his old tricks even though he’s behind bars.

26 year old Jocelyn Savage has been living with Kelly since 2015 and seems to have somewhat of a fractious relationship with the disgraced singer. Back in 2019, she accused him of getting her pregnant twice and forcing her to have abortions.

Just a month after making the accusations though, she claimed that an imposter had made the claims – a statement that absolutely nobody believed, with her family saying that she had been brainwashed by Kelly. They haven’t been in contact with her for several years.

Anyway, just before Kelly was sentenced last month, Savage wrote a letter to the judge explaining that he was misunderstood, she could make her own decisions and the pair were now engaged. Check this out:

Yeah, OK. Is anyone actually believing that she wrote this of her own free will and that it wasn’t R. Kelly himself writing it? Or at least dictating it to her? I suppose you have to give the guy credit for giving it a shot, but at this point I think I’m more worried about Savage’s mental state and what she’s going to do for the thirty years that he’s in prison as she seems to have been completely indoctrinated into his cult.

Hopefully her parents manage to snap her out of it without his physical influence around her but I wouldn’t be surprised if more stories like this came out in the future. Even when he’s trapped in the slammer R. Kelly is a dangerous character.
