Lorde as you probably already know is that 17-year-old fresh young Aussie pop star, with a voice (and face?) beyond her years. A new Tumblr (appropriately titled ‘Old Black People That Look Younger Than Lorde‘) highlights her other affinity to maturity – by placing her next to a selection of famous black people who seem to shower daily in the elixir of life.
It’s very much a par, as I know for certain that even though I may have looked 13 at her age, I didn’t have to carry around Grammys and the stresses of singing in front of thousands of people. But then again, as a 16-year-old looking woman in her mid-twenties maybe my time hasn’t come yet.
