According to experts, there was literally a one in 57 billion chance that the blood samples found at the scene where OJ Simpson’s ex-wife and her friend were found brutally stabbed to death belonged to someone other than OJ. Which means the odds that OJ Simpson didn’t murder the mother of his kids and her friend are basically zero, despite the fact the managed to get away with it.
With that in mind, Ruby Wax was keen to draw a confession out of OJ when she interviewed him in 1998 – three years after his acquittal. Following OJ’s death this week, this incredible clip from the interview has resurfaced and gone viral:
OJ Simpson was a psycho😭😭 pic.twitter.com/aGMtJNbbeq

What a prankster! Gives the most unconvincing ‘No’ in history when asked if he murdered his wife, and then ‘surprises’ Ruby Wax with a terrifying mock-stabbing. It would actually be pretty hilarious if it wasn’t so utterly f*cked up.
The interview also included the classic moment where a random woman walks up to OJ and shakes his hand while saying “I’ve never shaken hands with a murderer”:
OJ really had no chill pic.twitter.com/gCAxw481uG

Now that is funny.
Anyway, no matter what OJ Simpson did, there’s no denying his cultural impact and historical legacy in America. He was one of the finest athletes in NFL history, had a major role in one of the greatest comedy franchises of all time with Naked Gun, and his court room drama which was aired nationwide basically gave birth to courtroom reality TV. He really was a jammy b@stard to be able to accomplish all that and get away with murder.
Fair play to Ruby Wax for attempting to get it out of him, but we all know the truth anyway. RIP Nicole Simpson and Ron Goldman. Whether you want to wish the same for OJ Simpson is up to you.
