Student houses are notoriously dirty. When you get six teenagers living out of mummy’s home for the first time and squeeze them into a tiny living space, the results are downright filthy.

If you are one of the unlucky students living in squalor, then fret not as you could be in for a chance to win £500 as well as a £100 set of blinds (preferably to hide your home from the outside world).
A competition has been launched called ‘Britain’s Worst Student Digs’ and all you have to do to enter is provide a few basic details as well as a photo of your mess. Here are some of the worst entries so far:
