Stranger Things was one of the most exciting new TV shows of the last couple of years, but there’s definitely been what seems like an abnormally long wait between the second and third series with much speculation surrounding the release date of the new season.

This can now all finally be put to bed though as Netflix have finally decided to put us out of our misery and tell us when we can finally find out the latest weird goings on in Hawkins, Indiana. The bad news though is that it’s going to be a while – season three is scheduled to drop on Thursday 4th July.

Yeah, that’s over six months away, but at least Netflix have kept us keen by dropping another new teaser trailer for the new season as well. You can check that out below:

Yeah not really sure what that’s doing to get us excited except putting a couple of hidden messages in that don’t make any sense if you haven’t actually watched this season yet and making the screen go almost upside down at the end – maybe they’re going to a place called the diagonal this year? – but at least we finally know when it’s actually going to come out now. I guess that’s something.
