A new phone game has sparked outrage for its highly offensive portrayal of a Chinese chef who chops up cats with a meat cleaver while trying to avoid being deported.

The game, titled ‘Dirty Chinese Restaurant’, has been released by Canadian company Big-O-Tree (bigotry) whose slogan is:
Being politically correct is so boring.
Boring or a necessary part of a racist-free society? Anyway, the players partake as a Chinese chef who serves up rotting rubbish and cat meat and attempts to avoid immigration officers. It also shows illegal gambling from inside the restaurant.

As you can predict, the game has been criticised for its controversial content and American congresswoman Grace Meng is now calling on Apple and Google to discontinue it:
I wish I could say that I was shocked that there is a new video game soon to be released called ‘Dirty Chinese Restaurant’. This game uses every negative and demeaning stereotype that I have ever come across as a Chinese American.
However, despite the backlash the developers are trying to claim that it’s similar to the humour presented in ‘South Park’. Yes, but the main difference here is that ‘South Park’ is satirical and seeks to expose the stupidity of racism and bigotry through its humour. This game on the other hand appears to simply present offensive and unrealistic stereotypes without any explanation.
While we’re on the topic of ‘South Park’, here are the creators explaining why Donald Trump is too hard to satirise.
