Keeping with the trend of rebooting every film that has ever been made, there’s now news that Rihanna and Anne Hathaway are in talks to join ‘Ocean’s Eight’ – the female-driven reboot of Ocean’s Eleven.

Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Helen Bonham Carter and Mindy Kaling are all involved with the Warner Bros project as well.
Plot details are vague other than Sandra Bullock is the George Clooney of the group and will be leading the other conwomen into a major heist.

I don’t think the gender-swapping really worked out for ‘Ghostbusters’ but maybe this will be different. People will actually want to see this because those are some pretty huge actresses involved, not to mention everyone wants to see how many dicks Rihanna’s going to chop off before she breaks into the vault.
So just add that to the list of massive movie remakes coming up – alongside Stephen King’s ‘It’, ‘Big Trouble In Little China’, ‘Jumanji’ and ‘The Rocky Horror Picture Show’. Phew.
