Non-binary radio host and journalist Shivani Dave went on TalkTV yesterday to discuss the UK Supreme Court’s ruling on the legal definition of a woman, and naturally butted heads with host Julia Hartley-Brewer over the topic.
In the end, Shivani Dave claimed she felt unsafe being in the same room as Hartley-Brewer, and stormed out of the interview after saying she was on the verge of having a panic attack:

Incredible. Now obviously there was never any way this way going to be a respectful, civilised debate because Julia Hartley-Brewer makes her living being a passive-aggressive antagonist, and Shivani Dave clearly went in there with a plan to be the victim who feels unsafe around the person who disagrees with them.
I’m not sure storming off like a child was the best approach though. Most people seem to have had enough of the “I feel threatened” act, especially when it occurs after your ideas come under scrutiny and you’re asked to explain them.
Well anyway, let’s hope everyone is feeling safer today, till the next time these two sides are tasked with having an adult conversation on live TV.
