Nicolas Cage has been experiencing a bit of a career renaissance over the last few years, but this interview he gave to 60 Minutes might be the best thing he’s done in recent memory.

First, he picks up the interviewer in a GOLD LAMBORGHINI and proceeds to drive her to his Las Vegas mansion, then gives her a tour of the place where he shows off his pet dinosaur, among other things:

I’m pretty sure he’s wearing eye-liner and lipstick too, which really makes the whole presentation pop. All in all, a PR masterclass from someone who’s already a national treasure. I mean, how can you not love Nic Cage? Huge personality but somehow is down to earth and self-aware at the same time. Not to mention all the classic roles he’s given us over the years.

I especially like the part where he admits he may have ‘over-invested’ when he bought castles in England, Germany and Ireland. That’s what you call taking accountability for your actions.
