Is there anything more terrifying than being stuck in your car as it sinks into the ocean? Good thing these New Zealand cops (Officers Paul Watts and Simon Russell) were there to save the day after this lady somehow drove her BMW off a rock wall. They couldn’t break the windows open in time with their batons but one of them grabbed a rock and smashed it through right before the car went completely under.
Not sure why no one had the presence of mind to whip out their camera phone (seriously, what year is this?) but there are photos so that’s good.
