It’s fair to say that most of us have been excited about the incredibly stupid sounding movie where Nicolas Cage plays himself and has to infiltrate the inner sanctum of one of the world’s most dangerous men since it was announced, but now that it’s only six weeks away and another trailer is out and it looks even dumber than we could ever have imagined, we’re all going full Cage about it.

In case you missed the announcement a couple of years ago, ‘The Unbearable Weight Of Massive Talent’ features a down on his luck Nicolas Cage accepting an offer from a massive drug lord to go and hang out with him and party because he’s desperate for money. The two end up getting on like a house on fire, but trouble strikes when Cage gets enlisted by the US government to dig up some dirt on him and he’s forced to tap into his most iconic performance as Castor Troy and Cameron Poe in order to survive.

Yeah, the trailer probably looks even dumber than that sounds:

Ha ha. There’s no way that this isn’t going to be one of the dumbest movies of all time and I think everyone is going to be absolutely OK with that and it’s probably going to be a massive box office smash because of it. Nicolas Cage has transcended and knows not to take himself too seriously these days and this is going to be some A+ content from him. The comeback is officially on – if it wasn’t already after ‘Mandy’, ‘Pig’ and all the other badass movies he’s released recently.
