It was announced a couple of weeks ago that Better Call Saul would be returning for a fourth series at the beginning of August and ever since then we’ve been thinking more and more about (spoilers) how Jimmy’s transformation into Saul Goodman was going to inch ever further forward in this series following the suicide of his brother Chuck.

The first teaser trailer mainly seemed to centre around Gus Frings and his struggle for power with the cartels in Albuquerque, but this new longer teaser trailer al focuses on the now law practice-less Jimmy McGill and what he’s gonna do for ten months until he becomes a lawyer again. Seems pretty clear that this is going to involve him dealing with some pretty dodgy characters and lead him further down the path of no return into Saul Goodman.
It also looks like it’s going to be way more violent than other series as well:

Damn – that shootout at the end huh? Definitely looks as if the past three series are gearing up for something big to go down in this one, although I wouldn’t be surprised if there was one more series after this one which really cemented his status as Saul Goodman. Either way, looking forward to what’s going down in this one and there isn’t long to wait too.
