I think most people of a certain age with an internet connection will instantly know who I mean when I mention Ronnie Pickering after the Hull man went massively viral about a decade ago for a road rage incident where he berated a local cyclist. It wasn’t pretty but the fact that he became so angry for no real reason turned him into one of the very first memes that everyone can remember.

Anyway, a couple of people have popped up since then with claims of being the new ‘Ronnie Pickering’ but I think this guy that showed up on Twitter yesterday and quickly racked up a million views is the only one who can shine a candle anywhere him. No idea of the context of the clip and only have the video but I can’t stress this enough, make sure you watch this to the end because it really is worth it:

Wow. There’s just so much that’s so great about that.
I don’t want to get into the debate about cyclists v motorists, but both of them are acting like assholes but the guy in the car is definitely more aggressive and violent than the cyclist who is just whiney and annoying. Probably the dynamic that you would expect between them too, right?
Anyway, it’s a really classic moment when the Pickering wannabe tries to run after the cyclist (to do what exactly lol?) and then ends up tripping up and face planting super hard on the pavement. If you didn’t watch that far I bet you wish you did right? It’s one of the best face plants in history, seriously. Will always be remembered.
