It looks like there was another GTA 6 gameplay leak over the weekend, and word on the internet streets is that the person who leaked it is the son of Aaron Garbut, the current head of development at Rockstar North.
The leak itself isn’t anything too special, but provides a look at some of the landscape in what is possibly beta footage. The kid hilariously captions the clip ‘Can only so show too much for legal reasons’:
Even with such a brief clip, the gamer nerds went to work comparing this new footage with the GTA 6 leaks from last year, and concluded it’s the real deal:
Obviously Rockstar and game developers in general take this stuff very seriously, and so it’s pretty insane that this lad has risked his dad’s job and reputation by leaking this online, especially SO CLOSE to the GTA 6 trailer reveal which is dropping tomorrow on December 5.
In his defence though, this leak doesn’t reveal anything at all besides the fact that GTA 6 will be staged in a city with buildings and highways and cars driving around, which I think is something we could have all figured out for ourselves. So in all likelihood his dad will be fine. Thoughts & prayers with his kid though; he’s about to be grounded until GTA 7 comes out.
