Detective inspector Dave Edgar, 60, added that the kidnapper has most likely confided in someone else about the abduction and he is now urging anyone who was given this information to come forward.
Edgar said:
If anyone confided in you, now is the time to come forward. They can’t keep it to themselves and research has shown they always confide in someone else.
Until such time that a body is found it is a live investigation and there is always hope.
This information comes after Kate and Gerry McCann lost a third final appeal to silence the Portuguese police officer who wrote a book claiming that they staged the kidnapping and that they were the perpetrators. The book, ‘Maddie: The Truth of the Lie’, was written by Gonçalo Amaral – a senior police officer who was in charge of the initial hunt for missing Madeleine.
I don’t know about you guys, but I’m with Gonçalo Amaral on this one. Obviously no one can confirm what happened to Madeleine with absolute certainty until we have solid evidence, but when you add up the facts, the whole case becomes crystal. If you want to learn more on this then check out the documentary below (it’s a long film but stick with it – it will blow your mind):
