When I was a kid Carmageddon was hands down one of my favourite games on the PC.

There was just something completely awesome and fun about driving around killing loads of zombies (or humans if you were smart enough to get the patch) and ramming into other cars and smashing them up until you were the sole survivor. There were also some completely sick jumps and falls and spectacular crashes you could get involved with too. I must have spent so long messing around with that game driving around and fucking people up on my PC.

So if you’re anything like me, you’ll be unbelievably stoked to hear that there’s a new Carmageddon out this year on consoles and it looks as sick as the original. There’s a shit load of new cars, a bunch of awesome looking new levels and of course a lot of insane crashes.

Oh yeah, and you’re definitely killing humans this time and not zombies. Perfect:

Yeah, that’s what I’m talking about. Unfortunately there’s no news of a release date yet, but you can bet that I’ll be picking up when this drops in the summer.

In the meantime, check out The Culling, which looks like it could be the best multiplayer game of all time.
