Netflix’s ‘You’ has been one of the success stories of the year as it seems like people really dig watching hot guys be complete and utter weird creeps to girls that they randomly meet and think are the girls for them. If only real life was so easy eh?

Anyway, it’s gonna be a while before we see season 2 of that show but Netflix has kindfly decided to provide us with Dirty John in the meantime. This series is based on a true story and follows Debra who meets John online and is quickly besotted with him, although all is not quite what it seems.

Uh oh:

Yeah, I mean that looks like fairly trashy television but you can’t really argue that ‘You’ wasn’t, can you? Seems like the world is really digging these kinds of shows right now and I suppose this one looks fairly slick and has some good actors in – maybe it will end up being even bigger than ‘You’? Can’t really say that I’m too enamoured with either of them myself, but they looks like they could be more interesting than a lot of the shit out there at the moment. Might check out at some point – all episodes are dropping this Valentine’s Day.
