It seems like every other week we’re getting a new true crime drama on Netflix or one of the other streaming platforms, but ‘American Murder: The Family Next Door’ looks like it could be a little different

The documentary tells the story of the deaths of pregnant Shannan Watts and her two young daughters, who were reported missing back in 2018 after she stopped replying to a friend’s text messages. Her husband Chris initially went along with this story, but after three months of investigating, the cops discovered what had really happened.
Here’s the official trailer and synopsis:
Shanann Watts and her two young daughters went missing in Frederick, Colorado.
As details of their deaths made headlines worldwide, it became clear that Shanann’s husband, Chris Watts, wasn’t the man he appeared to be.
Experience a gripping and immersive examination of the disintegration of a marriage.
Geez that looks really creepy and eerie doesn’t it? I guess they were trying not to give away what happened in the case with the trailer and the synopsis and I kinda ruined it with the title of the article, but it’s always more fun finding how the whys and hows in these things then the conclusion. Still gonna be worth checking it out on September 30th.
