The rumours about Ice Cube’s set at Coachella were right. Not only did he bring out Snoop Dogg at one point, but he also invited his fellow N.W.A. rmembers DJ Ren and DJ Yella onto the stage to perform some of their old classics including ‘Straight Outta Compton’ and ‘Fuck Tha Police’. Mega.

Not mention of Dr. Dre was made — I guess they just forgot about Dre.
Ice Cube also made a massive shout out to Eazy-E and performed ‘Next Episode’ later on with Snoop. Needless to say, it sounds like one of the most epic sets ever. The video below chops and changes a bit, with some of the build up posts from Ice Cube added in there at the end, but you get the idea:

What a performance — gutted I couldn’t have been there to see it. I wonder if Leo DiCaprio was raving it up like he was a couple of years back?
