A Muslim lady named Rose Hamid turned up at the Donald Trump rally in Rock Hill, South Carolina this past weekend, wearing a shirt that read ‘Salam, I come in peace’. She was wearing a hijab and making no noise whatsoever.

She ended up being escorted out of the venue for no real reason, as Trump supporters aggressively heckled her.

Welp, not a good look for Donald Trump really. You can’t be booting out a nice Muslim lady for having a silent protest at your rally. At most you run one of those security scanners down her and make sure she doesn’t have anything dodgy on her but you definitely can’t kick her out for doing nothing at all.
Rose explained afterwards:
My purpose for going there is I have a sincere belief that if people get to know each other one on one then they’ll stop being afraid of each other and we will be able to get rid of all of this hate in the world, literally.
