Maverick Sabre is someone who has been on my radar for a while now, first hearing him on 1Xtra a few months back on Misterjam’s show. With his distinctive soulful vocals which bear a passing likeness to Finley Quaye, he has broken out of the underground music scene to slap ‘Soul’ artists like Plan B in the face.
This London boy is set for big things in the latter part of this year, I for one am excited about such fresh talent coming out of the urban scene. He can write songs, he can strum and boy can he belt out a tune. Get on the hype people.
