Who knew that it was possible to “rent out” the pyramids in Egypt? Well, with enough money it seems you can rent out anything, and there’s not many people out there that have as much money as the world’s biggest YouTuber – MrBeast.

It’s not like he’s rented them out for a couple hours, either. MrBeast will be renting the pyramids out for 100 hours, which gives him just over 4 days to film whatever outrageously expensive, elaborate and ridiculous video he’s got planned.

Here’s MrBeast discussing the video on the Noah Lyles podcast:

No doubt this is exactly what the ancient Egyptians envisaged when they built the pyramids thousands of years before the birth of Christ; that one day MrBeast and his buddies would be granted full access to the pyramids and bring their cameras and gadgets to film a ghost hunt/sleepover for their YouTube channel. The ancient Pharaohs will be spinning in their graves!

Which makes you wonder whether MrBeast and his pals are going to make it out of this experience alive. I mean, the pyramids are sacred territory where some of the most important and powerful Egyptian pharaohs in history are buried. What better time for their mummified corpses to rise up from the dead than when MrBeast and co are in town, exploiting their sacred resting place for YouTube content?

In fact, it would do wonders for Egypt and the reputation of the country and its pyramids if something truly awful did happen to MrBeast and his buddies in there. It wouldn’t surprise me if the Egyptian government knows this and is cooking up some booby traps or has a guy show up in a fake mummy costume to beat the sh1t out of them all or something. I mean, you can’t just let a group of American YouTubers turn up in your country’s most important and sacred landmark to film content and get away unscathed, can you? Even if they are paying millions and millions of dollars for the privilege. Don’t let us down, Egypt.
